An enthusiastic, academic, results-driven, and hardworking professional with over 21 years of working experience within higher education sphere, broadcasting as well as publication industry, which is accompanied by my Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Arts, Honours (Linguistics) Master of Arts (Linguistics) all from University of KwaZulu-Natal, a certificate in Project Management from Durban University of Technology and another certificate in Terminology Planning and Development from Stellenbosch University. An effective, diversified individual who possesses a high sense of moral integrity, loyalty, and honesty with a considerable amount of knowledge and experience in policy development, language planning and development, events management (organizing and coordinating local and international conferences/symposiums, hosting training and development programmes), managing finances, stakeholder engagements, report writing, as well as overseeing all academic language interventions and developmental projects for the university as part of Teaching and Learning Portfolio. My specialist experience over the years also includes project management, stakeholder liaising, curriculum development and coordination, teaching, assessing, moderating, supervising, and mentoring students as a lecturer. I am an enthusiastic public scholar, I present papers at local and international conferences. In recent years, I have published opinion pieces and done radio commentary mainly on education.
